“Our teens are making decisions that could negatively impact the rest of their lives, even end them altogether. Educators have been given the burden of not only teaching our children, but raising them as well. I’ve heard our children referred to as “generation x”. We need to wake up and realize that they are generation“next”. We cannot move far enough away to avoid feeling the impact of a large number of our children dropping out of school, being incarcerated, etc.”
